Waterform is a cine-concert performance built around the water element. The act is shaped in three parts as a meditative travel where the listener is immersed into soundscapes, melodies and visual environment. The music is performed live by the artist himself and the video screening is a meditative footage recorded in New Zealand, showing water in different states as mist, liquid, sparkle and air.
Waterform is an introspective performance that breaks through material borders. It invites listeners to a way beyond, a spiritual travel where the one element, the water, is felt completely. Music is played live by Marin Esteban distilling notes of acoustic guitar into acute particules of sound. His music emerges from the purest state of the melody itself. Through the use of digital effects, the repetition and scattering of continually played arpeggios submerge and bathe the listener in an audible yet elusive mist.
